USA LUXURY SHOPPING CONSORTIUM ANNOUNCES NEW PRESIDENT AND DIRECTOR FOR 2020

The USA Luxury Shopping Consortium announced today that a new president and director will assume ownership of the organization in 2020. The Consortium’s founder and president since its inception in 2017, Kathy Anderson, is retiring at the end of this year, but will remain active with the organization in an advisory capacity for the first year. The Consortium will now be based in San Antonio, Texas and led by Mollie Massari, an expert in the retail marketing industry.

The USA Luxury Shopping Consortium is an elite collection of shopping and dining destinations located in popular vacation cities throughout the USA including New York City, Orlando, Honolulu, Santa Monica, Newport Beach, Scottsdale, Las Vegas, Houston and Washington DC. In 2020, the organization announced it will add Miami, Boston and San Diego to its portfolio as well. Each center is renowned for offering a distinctive collection of designer retail, signature restaurants, entertainment and events.

“I’m proud to assume ownership and the role as president of the USA Luxury Shopping Consortium” said Mollie Massari. “The Consortium shopping centers and retail districts are unique in that they cater to domestic and international luxury travelers by offering special amenities and customized shopping and dining experiences. I look forward to growing the portfolio and opportunities to promote our partners to travelers from around the world.”

The USA Luxury Shopping Consortium centers and retail districts are promoted to travel trade, media and consumers via a variety of trade shows, PR, advertising, digital and social media campaigns. They are also recognized as Preferred Shopping Destinations by the Virtuoso Travel Network and were awarded their Most Innovative Partner award in 2018.

“It has been a privilege to partner with such an outstanding collection of shopping destinations and the marketing professionals at each” said Kathy Anderson. “I will miss my retail and travel industry friends from around the world, but look forward to an exciting new chapter in life-on a boat! Mollie will be an outstanding leader for the Consortium and I look forward to watching the organization’s growing success.”
